Grenada Spice Isle Bill Fishing Tournament is in full swing. The tag and release practise which was introduced several years ago is paying dividends as the 65 boats participating are all having several strikes per boat. There are loads of fish which got away, but the weigh-in dock was packed with spectators as the bill fish which met the criteria were weighed and recorded. Anglers brought their camera chips to the judges to log their catch! To date no one has made the “grand slam” requirements of catching the three types of bill-fish in one day!
This weekend sees the start of the Grenada Sailing Festival followed by the Work Boat Regatta next weekend. Port Louis Marina and The Grenada Yacht Club are humming with activity.
