By far the most popular hiking and trekking area in Grenada is undoubtedly the rainforest around the Grand Etang Forest Reserve. Get to know the interior of Grenada. Hike with us along Grand Etang rainforest’s fern covered trails, trekking down a 60 ft. decent to two of St. Margaret’s (7 falls) pristine waterfalls where a refreshing swim awaits. The crystal clear water is home of fresh water shrimp as well as a variety of mullets – any of which may nibble at your toes! On the return hike, enjoy a cooling drink at the top of Grenada’s Grand Etang forest trail and a chance meeting with mischievous Mona monkeys, before returning to the capital of Grenada, St. George’s. Comment from one of our guests:
Just wanted to let you know that we took your rainforest tour to Grand Etang National Park on Wednesday, February 20th, and loved it! Tony was our guide, and he was fantastic…..anyone who has him for their guide should consider themselves very lucky. He is so knowledgeable about the flora and fauna as well as Grenadan history, and he has a great sense of humor. He even stopped along the way to allow us to take photos of sites such as the harbor in St. George. Thanks for offering such a wonderful tour!
